She has received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Mathematics. She has a total of 14 years in education. She has successfully completed 9 years of classroom teaching experience ranging from grades PreK-3rd Grade. She has been a tutor for 12 years. She will be entering her sixth year as an Instructional Coach for teachers. She has completed a Master Degree in Teaching, Learning, and Assessment through National Louis University in June 2016. She attended the Teaching of Writing Summer Institute at Teachers College in New York City in June 2017, where she was equipped and empowered to teach students how to become better writers. She strongly desires to partner with families and equip students with the right strategies, tools, and resources to help them be more successful in school.
